Niittylilja

For the past few years I've been going back and forth with deleting my account, cleaning it up or starting a new one. But tbh I've come to the conclusion that I want to keep this account and just maybe clean it up a bit. And though I may not like all my older works, I like that there is a place where those can still be found. And after all Niittylilja is my "artist name" or whatever, so that's also a reason to keep this account.

My art may be very different nowadays than it was when I started with dA, I think that lots of my followers followed me mostly for my horse art. Now I do more landscape practises and different themes than I did then, but if there's some of you that followed me for my horse or animal stuff, no worries, those are coming too! Mainly cause horses are my favourite thing to draw and easiest thing for me to draw. But also more landscapes and game fanart. Maybe more of my jewelry and metal works too. So stay tuned, various shit is still coming to this account. But I'll clean up a bit with the older stuff.

For my personal life there isn't much to say I guess, I'll be moving to a new apartment in the end of the year and getting my first glasses in a few weeks. Other than that, we'll see what happens. Toodles!

Hey, could someone tell me if they know any good programs for recording your drawing with tablet? I'd like to make video out of my drawing process but I've never used programs like that before and I am very suspicious about dowloading new programs because of possible viruses and such. So I'd like to have some advice and opinions on any free recording programs.

Yeah, I got kinda fed up with the fact how messy my deviantart was. It's one of the reasons I've been so lazy to visit here. I deleted some old pics (not all of course) and journals that didn't seem necessary to keep in here anymore. I would like to clean up my favourites too but there are so so much of those........ Maybe I'll just accept that it's a mess with lots of old stuff that I may have used to like but not today. It's not such a big deal I guess.

 This cleaning is still a bit in a process but I wish this makes me more eager to upload pics here again.

I post my own photos there from time to time, mainly nature-related stuff. Lots of sunsets, playing with lights and shadows and stuff like that.

So, it's been a very busy Spring for me. I have had a ton of schoolwork (and still have, I should start some serious knifemaking soon), I moved to a new apartment, started a relationship, turned 21 and have met friends a lot. Busy, busy, busy, the only downside is that I haven't had any time to draw really. But it's all good, I haven't been this happy for years and things are finally starting to get in their place and make some sense. I am tired all the time though, but I hope that it'll get easier.
I should really clean and organize my dA or maybe do a completely new one. I've also wondered if I should start a some sort of blog for my metal works. In tumblr maybe? I'd add pics of my works with some text, tell how things are going etc. I'm not sure should it be in English or in Finnish, but probably in English.
